The NEW iPhone 5

Lots of speculation is going around on the new iPhone 5... in HD!!
Verizon Wireless is currently testing a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 and 5 and Verizon confirms they are making network changes to bring the iphone to their network. The new iPhone 5 is going to be loaded with awesome new features like video chat on 3g and 4g (no longer restricted to WiFi only), face recognition and extreme downloading. (List of possible features below). Just when you think there is nothing else to come up with, more and more and more technology comes out. And it is on the rise, and not just at Apple, Inc!

This iPhone 5 will have dual core processors and higher and powerful graphic chips that can deliver higher video resolutions and better "still" images when taking pictures, AND it will make multi-tasking a breeze.
There are a few networks working on building a 4G network. T-mobile would be a likely carrier since they are GSM already. Sprint has a 4G network already... AT&T and Verizon Wireless are in the beginning stages. There are talks of Verizon Wireless getting iPhone sometime in 2010 but it looks like they will get it for sure in 2011 when the new iPhone 5 comes out.
Whether or not it will be 4G will be up to them!... can they build in time? They will definitely have the 3G version of iPhone, but with the new iPhone 5 (4g speeds) coming out, will they compete?! Regardless, there is much anticipation on how many people will leave AT&T for Verizon Wireless because of AT&T's lagging on app restrictions like Slingplayer and Google Voice and Skype (on 4g network, not Wi-Fi).
AT&T's restrictions have caused the percentage of people that are JailBreaking their iPhones to rise since Jail Breaking usually comes with Cydia which is the app store for jail broken phones. Most of the applications, ringtones, and even iphone themes!...are free with Cydia. Winterboard is part of the download, and it very easily add's the changes to your phone so you dont have to figure how to do it on your own...it is VERY automated.
The Palm Pre on Sprint and HTC EVO (Sprint now offering a 4G network) has made an attempt at being competitive with iPhone and Blackberry...and it seems they are making head way, although with the iPhone 4 released and the iPhone 5 on the way, they are sure to lose. Oh ya, the Blackberry Torch? = Nice try... but that browser is NOT full HTML.
iPhone 5 looks promising in terms of being sleek, packed with new hardware and finally less restrictions. Very exciting.

A few features of iPhone 5:
Thinner! With shiny glass back piece - 9.3 mm thick.

Why will Android be successful

On Monday, market research firm Canalys released a report that Google Android operating system market share has reached 17% and become the world's second largest smartphone operating system. in the third quarter,

Since its launch, the market share of android is rising, while the share of the former boss symbian is reduced step by step.Personally I think that the following 3 reasons lead this result:
First , android is developed by google. In the terms of the google's position on the Internet field, android was paid great attention of so many google’s fans from its launch. With a large number of worldwide fans google, android is not the lack of the first batch of users.
Second, the choice of the linux. You will ask, does it have anything to do with android?Of course it does, android make use of the linux kernel and android is just wrapped in linux actually. So with the support of open source software ,google solves the problem of developing a operation system successfully. With the accumulation of mature technology and the advantage that can run on almost any hardware platform and completely free of charge, any phone manufacture can run Linux,of course, android too.
Third, open-source platform.Whether a mobile phone operating system has great vitality or not depends on many factors: is people willing to develop,is it easy to develop, has it benefits to be made.Every time google releases a new version, they will release a corresponding SDK which is used to develop softwear by software-maker.Symbian or iOS didn’t do that and it is a big difference.Personally I think that is why android is so successful.
It has been revealed that android2.3 Gingerbread is coming,so let us clear our eyes to see what would the Gingerbread bring to us.

Samsung ES55: A Compact Digital Camera with a Ton of Features

Samsung ES55: A Compact Digital Camera with a Ton of Features

The Samsung ES55 digital camera offers the power of digital photography in a user-friendly package. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its 10.5 megapixels offer great resolution. It may take a few minutes to get used to the cluttered menu design, but for the asking price this camera will definitely deliver everyday snapshots with ease.

Samsung has packed quite a few features into this tiny camera. Face detection sensors will automatically find any faces that are in your frame and focus so that the face is always sharp. You won't have to worry about the autofocus accidentally focusing on someone's shirt or hat and leaving the eyes blurred and out of focus. Built in red-eye fix, makes snapping pictures very simple. When the digital image stabilization feature is turned on, the Samsung ES55 will keep even low-light images clear and sharp.

The 3x optical zoom is rather limited compared to other digital cameras, but the image quality is nice enough that you can crop your photos down after you've moved them to your computer and still have a nice, crisp image to work with. The Samsung ES55 is an entry-level digital camera, which means that it does its best work in bright situations or where there is a lot of sunlight. Lower light photos will turn out a bit grainier and washed out. It's a good idea to limit your photographs to 200 ISO or lower, as higher ISO speeds will also create grainier image results.

One of the most impressive features of the Samsung ES55 is its Beauty Shot mode. When you snap a photo of someone's face using Beauty Shot, the camera will automatically smooth out and remove blemishes or inconsistencies in skin tone. It's like having a minute version of Photoshop built into your camera. Of course, it is more limited than the full photo editing software, but for small touch-ups on the go it can be very handy.

You can get a Samsung ES55 in one of four fun colors - pink, dark black, brushed metal black, or silver. This is a sturdy, metal camera and should travel well in a purse or pocket. The small, compact design fits well in your hand, and your finger naturally rests upon the shutter release button on the top right of the camera.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced digital camera that does all of the work for you, the Samsung ES55 is exactly what you need. It has automatic settings for contrast, ISO, and face recognition. Nine different shooting modes will adjust to the environment and lighting needs of your location. This really is a point-and-shoot camera that will be handy for photographers who just want to capture snapshots, or beginners who are learning how to frame photos and what different lighting can do to a shot. If used in bright light situations, the vivid colors and sharp image results will be rewarding no matter what the photos are going to be used for.

some ignored tips about saving the energy of phone

We all know that the life of phone’s battery is based on the number of charge. In general,a bettery has 500 times life, which means if you charge the battery once a day, you can use the battery 1 year and 4 months If you charge the battery once two days, your battery will be able to spend two years and 7 months.

Here are some energy-saving tips which are my feelings and experiences and I hope it can give you some help.
1. The best temperature for cell phone batteries is 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. If cell phone is used below 0 degrees Celsius ,the natural discharge and normal consumption will accelerate, so that battery life shortened.
2. Close the phone at the edge of the coverage. Network signals are often weak or even not available at the at this area. Therefore, using in this marginal zone is a waste of power.
3. Switch to the engery-saving mode to speak. Most phones are equipped this function "DTX non-continuous emission power saving mode".This advanced features can reduce the power of mobile radio transmitter when the phone is not used.
4. Try to turn off the display lighting try to use the phone in a bright place at the season with long day and short night.Under normal circumstances we can choose to turn off the display lightning or keypad lighting to save energy.
5. Generally a cell phone has a manual network search and automatic network search options. You can adjust to the manual network search, so your phone will not take the initiative to detect the base station.
Gennerally speaking, all of these tips is just reducing the phone’s working time or unnecessary function to save energy.
If you guys have any cool power-saving ways, share in the comments to help each other please.

Death of Walkman

Yesterday, Sony announced that it would stop Walkam production in the local place. This move marks a fade of walkman ,which is very popular in the eighties and nineties, from the our views.
On July 1, 1979 ,Sony launched the first version of Walkman which is the first low-cost, portable music player. The products won a huge success in the market and Sony has sold 200 million this products totally.Walkman then fell to a flourishing stop today. In my opinion that led to the death of personal walkman have 3 main reasons.

     1. Cassette restrictions. In all fairness, walkman is a very great invention, but it had a fatal defects which exist from its first production : it cannot play without a cassette. If you want to hear a certain singer's music, you have to buy a cassette to listen to his albums, that means there is no cassette, walkman do not have any use. The cassette can only contain a dozen songs and if you want to change songs, you have to put it out and change another one.
     2. Rise of MP3. From the first MP3 is made at Korean in 1998 and it planted the seeds of decline for the walkman. MP3 can work without assistance. All you need to do is downloading the music ,maybe one hundred songs, from the Internet with a data cable to the computer.and nothing more, is that simple? It is easy to understand why walkman MP3 can beat it!
3.Expensive cost. From the perspective of the machine only, walkman is indeed cheaper than MP3, but then what? Buying cassettes or downloading music from the Internet, which is more expensive? You know it.
Have to admit, walkman is a very great invention, but the technology is always in progress.Who can guarantee that mp3  will not be the next walkman?
